The CRADLE wishes to alert members of the public that communications being circulated in the internet on field assistants’ jobs, the Cradle Africa Foundation Kenya, is a scam by unscrupulous individuals or parties who are falsely using TheCRADLE’s name to solicit applications and money from job seekers. In particular, the fraudsters are asking job seekers to send a medical examination fee of Ksh. 1,000 to be paid via MPESA to this number 0708736529.
The jobs have been advertised under various websites including http://ke.3wjobs.com/j__l__Nairobi%20Area.html; http://epakenya.ucoz.com/;
http://www.cradleafrica.clan.su/ among others.
The CRADLE confirms that it is not affiliated to CRADLE Africa Foundation and has made no authorization for such recruitment and therefore appeals to the public not to respond to the fraudulent job offers. Further, The CRADLE confirms that announcements on job vacancies are made through its official website www.thecradle.or.ke and the local media under its official logo. The CRADLE DOES NOT request for any payments to be made by applicants for job applications and/or interviews. The CRADLE has also taken action with the relevant authorities on this matter.
The CRADLE shall therefore NEITHER be responsible for the content of any information NOR shall it be liable for any conclusion, loss or damage of any nature whatsoever suffered or that may be suffered by member or members of the public arising from or as a result of reliance on or usage of any information relating to job offers and/or recruitment in portals, websites or e-mails which are not authorized by The CRADLE.
