The CRADLE publishes different categories of publications as follows:
Juvenile Justice Quarterly
The Juvenile Justice Quarterly is a quarterly magazine that aims at providing trends on juvenile justice at the national, regional and international levels. It targets different groups including legal practitioners, policy makers, and the general public. It also provides an avenue for identifying good practices in other jurisdictions which can be positively applied for policy and law reform in the country including informing processes for improved implementation of laws and policies. Juvenile Justice Journal
The Juvenile Justice Journal monitors annually the trends in policy and legislation as relates to juvenile justice specifically as premised under the Children’s Act among other related laws using international standards as a benchmark for measuring government compliance, so as to provide to the public information on the state of child rights in Kenya. Case Trends Monitor
This is an annual report that documents emerging trends on child abuse. The report is based on cases of child abuse reported to The CRADLE Legal Aid Clinic and media highlights on child abuse. The report is also informed by other developments such as emerging jurisprudence and law reform processes. Read more
Media Docket Series
This series consists of quick guide to various issues on child rights and child protection. The media dockets are an easy to read reference guide for The CRADLE staff and members of the public. Read more
Child Friendly Publications
Under this category, CRADLE publishes materials targeting children and children's needs. This category also entails publications developed through the direct contribution of content by children; notably the Safe Horizon Magazine and the Letter Link Magazine. Read more
Paper Series
Under this category, The CRADLE addresses emerging and thematic issues on child rights under different categories; namely: position papers; thematic/focus studies; case commentaries; and advocacy briefs among others. Read more
